As I remember, I believe Jacksonville Florida had a sewage problm REALLY bad around 30-50 years ago. Don't remember the details but sure do remember the smell. I think they did something about it but I don't know that, either.
Now, if you consider it ax families receiving it, say with 2 children, they'd need quite a bit more each. I'll leave it to you financial geniuses to figure it out. (genii or as written?)
$35,000 A PLATE? That's a lot of moolah. How many attended?
If it was 300, that would give about 1,000 people in the poverty level at retirement a years substanance each. That's with a bit of budgeting and no hard luck incidents.
White-haired and admittedly dumb about a lot of things, I find your comments most egregious and unhealthy. You took it, as a newcomer to this blog, to latch on to the plea that Clay avoids anything that makes the Democrats seem bad. I think Alprova covered that remark adequately. As another Party of One (POO)
I find your assessment what passes for the usual TROLL drivel we find on this blog. In fact, it sounds a great deal like the stuff put out by a recently exposed Troll.
A local paper had a cartoon of the politicians shaking hands over the debt question. Sorry I can't give the URL because it didn't publish the cartoon on line.
One of the comments was, "I didn't begin to worry until they shook hands."
Would you be willing to give me 11.1% of your earnings to supplement the thousand dollars they took from my Social Security plus the loss of the money that was taken when the cost of living was removed from SS?
Just these past few months the cost of living has increased tremendously!
I'm willing to work but locally, where I live, the only job offered was one delivery driver who had to be able to lift 60 lbs.

It seems as though a few others, beside myself, wish Geithner would go away.
Exactly what are his duties?

The Handout
So I'm late. No comment, but something from the NYT yesterday...

And I was thinking of detouring through Chatanooga when and if I ever got a chance to go to Atlanta to visit a friend.

I have no need to expand further on the term.
