The Dayton City Council is also the school board. I am glad the Dayton City School’s TCAP scores are at the top (they are not)and do not need improvement and the city school has plenty of money (they do not)to build new classroom to alleviate any overcrowding issues to reduce class sizes. Billy Graham who is the County Finance Director wants the Dayton money to make his county job easier. I don’t think he should be able to vote on this subject as it appears to me this is a conflict of interest on his part. I don’t feel this should be a “peace offering” and the city council/school board should be fighting for any money they can receive to help the students and teachers not giving it away.
