Why is this so hard to figure out?

After School Games = School Sponsored School Sponsored = Funded by Government Government = Separation of Church and State

I do agree with "CollegeGraduate" on some of the points. I was raised in Chattanooga, went to school in the Midwest, Worked in Chicago and New York and now I'm working abroad. I have to admit, when I mention where I grew up to people I meet, the usual jab is about dumb rednecks who only hold on to their bible and gun and at the same time watch the rest of the world pass them by.

People need to wake up and understand that the United States is not a country that exist for Christians. Separation of Church and State is very clear and at times (like this article) need to be enforced very technically. Stop crying about it. Instead of spending time making more bible signs why don't they focus more time on their education so they can get into a reputable university rather than some no-name community college that most of these student will probably go.

We're in the 21st century folks! The fact that this is even an issue shows how backwards some communities are. I totally agree with the decision the superintendent made. I bet these people who are against the decision that was made won't have a problem with it if instead of christan verses being taken down it was islamic verses.

Bottom line, separation of church and state needs to be enforced in a clear and systematic manner. Good job to the superintendent...
