There are some factual errors in this article.
1) The state grant covered 40%, not 30%, of the system cost and yes, all funds have been allocated.
2) The federal grant covers 30% of the system cost, and is still a grant for 2011, not a tax credit as the article states. This grant is still available.
3) The caption incorrectly states that the system at 212 Market Street will produce 250 kW of power. That would require approximately one acre of surface area. I don't know the specifics of this system, but the roof area at this restuarant (including the new awning) will hold maybe a 20 kW system at best. Additionally, notice the direction of the panels - the camera is facing south (along Market St) so the panels are tilted west. For maximum power production, the panels should be tilted south.
