As much as I disrespect the Tea Party fringe, the left of this city led by this side of the paper, Mayor Andy Berke and a handful of other Obama-ites is making me understand the anger with which they operate in the face of hypocrisy and pettiness.

To see Senator Corker attacked and disdained is the point at which each of you has shown your fringe left standing.

Funny, Congressman. Memphis is the home to one of the most vocal opponents to the union, FedEx. Glad to know that the Memphis representative doesn't represent one of our state's major employers and wants to see our businesses take the path of Detroit. Stay on your side of the state.

Based on all of these comments, you're happy to live on welfare and see all businesses that generate revenue and jobs to leave the state. So noted.

Actually, I have a second company there. I appreciate your loyalty the UAW, but know their operations. Just not the same.

If this UAW vote brings this group to Tennessee, our company will move to Texas. It's not a matter of employee representation. It's a matter of how the UAW has and does conduct its operations.

As a conservative Republican, none of the three men you listed are viewed as leaders in my peer group, especially Mike Huckabee. Boehner seeks only to work with what he had, never offers a vision. Rand Paul is running for president and seems to enjoy the center stage but the king of political theater is Huckabee.

I've had the misfortune of being in meetings with him as he has solicited support and money. I'm old enough to have gone used car shopping on Rossville Blvd for my first car. That's where Mr. Huckabee belongs.

Just curious, Rickaroo, what Westside housing project have you been in lately? I've never met Mrs. Smith and actually, and embarrassingly, voted against her. I'd like a redo and would be a vocal supporter if she did run.

Stay on your crazy wagon loaded down with angry teaparty folks. Solving problems is not on your list of priorities.

This is long overdue. A writing that criticizes no one, encourages all to engage and is written by someone actually involved in correcting a problem.

Applause.

The reason the answer to the question of opportunity will always revolve around the color of skin is simple. Your character is yours to create and have as your personal responsibility. Being judge by the content of your character shifts the view to the individual. The left will never embrace that.Ever.
