My only question is who is going to ticket law enforcement for being on their cell phones or will they deem it a work related emergency.
What I would like to know from the County Mayor and Commissioners is where was this 50 million dollars when county employees lost their jobs just a few short months ago when you didn't want to touch the bonds to protect your credit why couldn't it be refinanced then and where has it been for the past 3 years that county employess have not received a pay raise?
When the state Outsources my husbands job, I guess my family will be living and dining with you. since you seem to have a surplus of support to go around for all the people that will be unemployed. Great Suggestion...
The action that was taken against them at the time of the offense whether it was suspension or whatever was considered the discipline at the time. How can you come back a yr. later and re-pusnish for the same offense. I'd like to know how many of his staff who received the 11% raise shouldn't be eligible. As if given the people that actually do the job a 1.6% raise and all his "YES" men an 11% wasn't enough to drop morale, he then had to pour salt in the wound by taking that away. Im sure there's a project waiting to be funded with that money somewhere.
Rhonda Thurman should choose her words carefully or expect the backlash. "Black Community Leaders" should stop only jumping on the bandwagon when they think race is involved and be this vocal on trying to solve some of the problems that plague the inner city. Get on on board to find and promote positive community involvement for our kids so that they are not being killed or killing everyday. Get involved with promoting activites so they are not hanging out doing nothing the entire summer. School is about to start and once again nobody has mention the kids everyone is on their on self promotion agenda. As for the school board as a whole they've proven where their priorities are.
Did anyone think to ask how much out of pocket is county employees who have not had a raise in 3yrs going to save or was the employess interest not a factor as usual.
Enough about how much the county will save, lets hear how much the county employees will save, or is that not on the agenda.
When are the hamilton county employees going to be able to give input on anything that directly affects them. The cost of benefits continue to rise while raises continue to be non existent. We are already being forced to use Erlanger to save on cost. Is this benefit change going to decrease pay checks yet again.
