I am exceedingly pleased that Richt thinks that he and his staff have done one of their better coaching jobs in what most of us consider to be a disappointing season. I would hate to see the scores of the Alabama and Florida games if he thinks they had done a "bad" coaching job. Injuiries can only be used as an excuse up to a point.
Except for the Richt apologists who think that he would have done a "great coaching job" at 3 and 10, I think that most season ticket holders think that the coaching job didn't turn out so hot...except for one glaring exception, the job done by Coach Searles. Thank goodness he is staying.
I think that if Richt doesn't wise up and find a good defensive coordinator and an offensive coordinator who doesn't need on the job training, Richt might go the same route as poor old Phil, national championship ring and all.
My guess is, he's got about two years to get it together or he will be rich and unemployed, just like Phil and Tommy.

On Epps: Richt is right to a point, but this wasn’t great coaching
