@Flying- There is every possibility of homicide. Why can you say there is no possibility of homicide when there is even less of a possibility of Abandonment. --"Sheriff’s office investigators have said there is no evidence of foul play in Palmgren’s disappearance."

They have clearly shown their incompetence with this case. What happened to the old days when the sherrif's office was held accountable for not gaining results? I just hope all the poor Signal Mountain residents can sleep at night with the knowledge they are so protected on their mountain. And the second things go wrong every justice entity bails out with we can't figure anything out.

Good! I'll say it agian the mounting cost is a Great thing! Let's continue down the growing OWS highway. What will be the end result will the powers that be, also known as the pocket dwellers of the 1%, stand up and force change to benefit the obviously discontented masses that are just plain fed up with greed that permeates every second of the lives the 1% live or, will the same pocket dwellers push for more wasted costs to force "free Americans" to give up more of their american rights to oppose the never ending greed of the 1%??? It's an interesting debate. Unfortunately it's obviously apparent that the 1% have not even noticed the growing trend of the 99%. They continue to sit in their kingdoms and continue to enjoy the undeserved lives they live. If the system cannot be equal well then keep up the OWS movement and bankrupt the system. What will the 1% do when they have nothing to leech off of. It is a horrific image that comes to my mind. The image of no more America. In the end it will not be terrorists it will be our own greedy 1% that destroys a once great nation. To all of you 1% supporters i say this "change has to come or else our children and our grandchildren will suffer from our stubborn refusal to see whats right in front of us"!!!

There is no reason at all that the overly wealthy cannot do more they have reaped the benefit of Bush's crooked tax breaks for the wealthy for 10 years. when everyone else was blasted by the economy downturn big business was bailed out with taxpayers money. They didn't even have to cover their own mistakes. They have not earned the right to say they deserve any consideration. That is clear if you look back over the multiple decades that their wealth has been hoarded. The taxation on the wealthy should be more stringent!! Those who make over a million a year? Thats ridiculous! How about those who make over $500,000 a year? Those who are taking advantage of Medicare that make over $750,000 a year? Equally ridiculous! How about forcing them to purchase their own 50% coverage and cut their Medicare support to 50%. They're thriving off the Government Teet and they're not even in the workforce anymore. Last but not least. We shouldn't punish the Job Creators? The "job creators are causing the unemployment rate because of .......Wait for it......"GREED"! There is no other more deserving victim for punishment than the A-holes that have dropped a multitude of employees to protect their over inflated salaries. The wealthy need to pay the piper. The times are a changing and if they don't get on board well, the meek will rise up and you will begin to see a consistent rise in vigilainty justice. When people have nothing and the shallow have all it comes to revolt!!!

This is another example of dirty politics. The Fleishmann team without question used dirty underhanded smear campaign tactics with little to no proof. They should all, especially Fleishmann be made examples of. This will not happen! The powers that be most definitely pulled their ace cards out during the campaign to win. The defense is without question being financially supported by Taxpayer funds, Campaign donations and Private donors!! When the establishment is more concerned with Greed and Power the foundation of our great nation will lose every time. It's a shame this occurs. I predict that regardless of whether they run this story on the front page everyday forever nothing will come of this.

I agree with skyboxer, this should be driven by A neutral party like the FBI. The case was mishandled and not given adequate interest by Signal Mountain Police until it made national news. They would rather pretend the community up there is not capable of such possible atrocities as homicide than actually strive for justice!

Your in the 99% genius! Thats why this country is so f'd up. And what does looks have to do with rights or equality. Are you suggesting that appearance should be the determining factor in all issues addressed in protests? I'm sure every minority in the nation would love to take a shot at answering that one for you. Does the color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation etc.. define any american's rights. Last but not least but far. Smoking the same thing as they are. Really? Timbo i laugh at you and your poor attempts to justify the half-assed reasoning that obviously permeates your everyday life. The fact that you and I are given the freedom to voice ourselves in an open forum with the convenient security of a random profile name is 100% the same as what the Occupy protest is doing. The only difference is they have the courage and belief that this once great Nation can be so again! You can only hope to one day have the backbone to stand up for yourself regardless of Closed minded ridicule!!!!!

What? Is this an example of how Obama's administration is actually doing a good job? Quick Republican Douchebags assemble! Squash this article ASAP and replace it with something along the lines of hating the elderly. HAhahaha. This country would already be on the right track if the diluted Republicans would allow it. Guess there isn't any lobby money in doing the right thing.

"The income of the top 1 percent, another study shows, grew 10 times faster in the 2002-2007 period than the income of the bottom 90 percent". "And the ultra rich, under unfairly advantageous tax policies, are getting richer faster than ever. From 1992 to 2007, the incomes of the top 400 ultra-wealthy earners saw their incomes increase by nearly 400 percent, while their average tax rate fell by 37 percent. The incomes of the bottom 90 percent of American households, of course, either barely stayed even with inflation in that period, or fell on an inflation-adjusted basis". WAKE UP Republican Automatons!!!!!!!! It's this simple we all know it will it take the downfall of a nation before you all get your heads out of your arses?? Not 1 single member of the 1% even reads this paper! Why then is Chattanooga a brothel for the Republican party? I'm not sure what scares me more. The fact that most of Chattanooga's populace are so devoutly ignorant of the Republicans obvious bias or the fact that this country is failing because of clearly obvious decisions made by Republicans!!! Is it the guilt for having caused our current state of affairs or is it just plain stupidity???????

We still live in the greatest country the world has ever known but, it's been way off track for years and we all know it! Will America rise from the downward spiral or not???? No matter what advancements in technology that come down the road, we will never see a lowering of cost! It's just business after all. This country's hardwired for Greed! Each and everyone of us are to blame. If not Greed then Gluttony.
