As a UTC Wrestling Alumni, I feel a little biased & think he shoudl wrestle for Coach Eslinger. Hard to imagine a 5 time state champ coming out of TN though...

@sbm362, Alcoa will lose this week. Maryville owns them as far as overall wins in the series & although they've enjoyed a 2 year winning streak, it's about to come to a crashing end. They'll still win the 3A title & destroy everybody else on their schedule (including a "wack" defending 4A champion in Greeneville), but the winnig streak ends on Saturday the 27th!

Wow! I've seen him play & I'll admit he has an arm, but putting him at a 4 star level & the top QB in the state is way off. The Robinette kid out of Maryville has better stats, better physical numbers, is a better student, has played better competition, & has a title to show for it. Now if some of you misinformed fans want to say that he has better numbers b/c Maryville is a more talented team than Cleveland, you're sadly mistaken. Cleveland has ALWAYS had better athletes than Maryville & ALWAYS will. The only thing Maryville has over anybody else is their coaching staff, period. If Robinette had went to these Elite 11 camps like this Voytik, he'd be rated higher. Congratulations to him though, but I'll let the season play out & prove I'm right...

bchof93, and might who this principal be? When I looked it up, I saw the principal was female. By the way, I'm proud fo both schools just as you & everybody else in Blount county is. I played for Maryville myself at the start of this amazing run of titles before continuing my athletic career at UT Chattanooga & have family that played for Alcoa in the days of Al Davis Sr. 12 titles for each is indeed quite a feat, but you did fail to mention that Maryville has made the title game many more times & played against stiffer competition in the process while being severely undersized almost every year. Although I have love for both schools bchof93, we all know who owns this series & 2 years doesn't make a rivalry. It is ironic though how one county can dominate all of the other counties in this state a la tiny Valdosta does for high school football in the great state of Geargia...

Are you kidding me!! #1, their academics standards are good, but not even the bext in the county. #2, there is another team in teh county who is even more dominant & in the toughest division in the state. Don't even make me break out the records b/c it won't even be close...
