u_u And I thought losing to the Phillies 11-14 yesterday was bad. I didn't even hear about this until just now. Yeah, that is embarassing. I commend though Rangers Ballpark for at least trying to make an effort to clean that up even though the PR damage was already done. No fault of their own but come on North Texas! Would you do that on someone's tombstone? (which in my opinion is no different)

Nothing related locally in the 423. But here in the 972 ALL local media was covering today being the first home game down yonder on I-30 against the Phillies.

Sadly, it's an afternoon game so I'll be here helping No Speaka Da English find her order. I really need a better job.

Anyway, Rangers ball is back. God bless us, everyone.

OG- Not discrediting you but I thought he did something like a freelance match somewhere in Indiana that was only photographed but not filmed? Just asking to refresh my memory.

Well, definitely lots to cover that's for sure. And yes, you guys are expecting another cold front. The same one that passed through us. So it goes.

Watched Jim Foster's lovely ladies fight tooth and press-on nails (just kidding ladies) against the Orangewoman of that small school in New Yawk state. Even if they were coached well, ::yells from a corner in the room:: HOW WAS THE SHOOTING CHARLES??

Turrable! Turrrrable!

I could understand shooting cold on the threes but the layups not going in was the nail in the coffin. And so once again the curse of the one and done XX Mocs remain in tact. u_u

I sometimes forget I live in a city with well-known media celebraties on the account anytime the DMN writes something about Cuben, it's no different then reading about Bob Corker. I definitely see his point in regards to the fact the NFL live appears to now be a rich man's activity. Seriously, courtside seats to a Mavericks game is are hundreds cheaper then the very back seats at Jerry's Deathstar on I-30. While I don't foresee a fan revolt in the same manner as the Chinese people overthrow of various emperors, sooner or later, there has to be a cap where enough is enough. as to what that cap is, who knows.

Gunner already had his debut months ago. Unless he finally got picked up by either a WWE farm league or another organization (TNA for example).

Jomo- Wasn't going to say anything about NDSU as I heard it this morning. Still looking forward to seeing a Mocs vs. Herd match-up.

Not to keen on a Ghostbusters 3 on the account I never really like 2 or the fact they thumbed their nose at the timeline to the Ghostbusters animated series (that's another story for another day) but also because the plot sucked.

Even if Murray signed on board, he's not the Bill Murray of 25 years ago. He no longer has that "spark" and as far as he is concerned, he's okay with that.

List of movies and sequels I would love to redo: Blues Brothers 2, Road House 2, every video game movie ever made (beginning with Super Mario Brothers), The Last Airbender, and bunch I don't have time to go into.

I don't have time to read and review the cows, the chickens, and the hogs, regarding the NFL rule changes (Sorry, I'm at work when I'm reading this).

However, for your Rushmore, mine is the following (all local): First weekend of Rangers regular season, first football Mocs game of the season (whether it's a home or away game, I'm going to find a way to watch it), First Cowboys game of the season (if I'm paying attention), First UT football game of the season (if I can get regional coverage).

Whoever asked this yesterday, no, I do not use ketchup with Texas BBQ. Although the house blend BBQ sauce where I was at had a strong taste of "Applejacks".

I give Will Wade a solid B for the first year, considering he was having to work with table scraps when compared to the filet mignons Coach Foster was handed (okay, not the best choice of words but you get the idea). I am more interested in year two after 2-3 of Will's own hand-selected recruits come in who can actually run the Chaos program.

Since I don't gamble (at all), this space dedicated to the cows, the chickens, and the hogs of bracketing is about as sexy as reading about the history of European Economics in the Middle Ages. If the XX Mocs win on Saturday, at least we'll have something to talk about on Monday.

Rushmore: Patrick Ewing, Neil Patrick Harris, Patrick Duffy, Patrick Swayze (too easy).

Looking forward to seeing who the XX Mocs draw tonight. I checked Friday's mailbag and obviously nothing that jumped out. Did you guys talk about the Deion article I mailed you on the radio show? Also, any key highlights from the Coach Russ interview? Thanks

Had a nice paid day off on Friday. Bought my birthday gift and had some Ft. Worth BBQ for lunch and sushi is Richardson for dinner.

GD, there's a reason for that. At the beginning of this forum, Jay had a prime directive:

O.J. Simpson is not to be discussed on this forum. This is not open for discussion (his words).

Aside from that, slow day (not complaining about it either).

I can imagine the Deion Story being good foddier for Sports Row (even if it's not a local story). But it is covered "locally" down here in Big D. And this school has been a hot mess from day one (The written description of the buildings makes my ala mater Ganns Middle Valley look like the East Hamilton High building).

Maybe it's me, but it seems like the tournement is starting later and later each year. Case in point. I vividly remember watching round 1 of the tournement on my 22nd birthday (Mocs vs. Georgia) followed by the win against Illinois two days later. Good times but dang.
