Thank you for all proving my points about simpletons inhabitating the deep south. Over the last 15 years, the last time I checked, UT had as many national championships as Alabama. For those of you slow with the math, one = one. The great state of Tennessee consistently ranks higher in most educational rankings over our neighbors to the south. Plus we have one of the finest private universities in our state, Vanderbilt; leading cities such as Knoxville, Chattanooga, Memphis and Nashville; and our state is located closer to power centers in New York and Washington D.C. Coach Kiffin helped lead UT back to resurgence by destroying Georgia and South Carolina and was a blocked field goal from winning at Alabama. We wish to take the high road and wish him well on his promotion at the University of Southern California. UT will have a couple of down years but we will be back and then prepare to fear the Volunteer Nation. Go Vols!
I don't blame this young man. First, Coach Kiffin takes a promotion to the University of Southern California, then Aaron Douglas and Bryce Brown leave and now Nick Stephens. The next couple of years will be tough but the good news is the last time I checked we are still the University of Tennessee and not like those simpletons down south. (see Alabama, Florida, etc!) Go Vols!
