Wildman, I'm glad you're such an expert on this case. If you'll notice, the article says "a single count".
However, the article doesn't mention anything about an unsecured wireless network that anyone within 200 yards could connect to, and any decent hacker could easily hijack another computer on the home network to hide their identity while committing this horrible crime.
A later article on this case says a search warrant was issued in April. If they found something on the computer at that time, an arrest would've been made immediately, so why did it take eight months to make an indictment? Sounds like fishy evidence to me.
