Is this really that difficult? Call it Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center.
No matter what they call it, it will always be Reflection Riding in my mind (and I assume, many others). It is a beautiful name. The new name, while appropriately descriptive, is boring.
It didn't work out well for Rodney, but he has a lot to be proud of in Sloan...and so does UTC football. Great kid who absolutely got the most out of his college experience, on and off the field.
He is a fixture at just about any Mocs sporting event, supporting all his fellow athlete's...men's and women basketball, softball, volleyball, you name it, I've seen him there...and for a number of years, you would see him leading the Mocs student section at the SoCon tournament in Charleston. He was just one of the fans, acting crazy and cheering his head off.
Kids like Sloan make me proud to be a Chattanooga Moc.
An even better reason for Terrell to come to town...the last time the Mocs beat Furman in Chattanooga...Terrell was on the field. Come home Terrell and help exorcise the demons!
Sadly, I wouldn't be surprised if this ended up being a homeless person. They will occasionally burrow themselves back in the wooded brushy areas at the park to camp. Someone could expire there and easily not be found for months.
I only believe in the death penalty in very narrow circumstances...but this one definitely qualifies.
Mathews didn't hesitate in taking another person's life. He has proven time and again that he would take whatever he wants by force with no regard for the lives of others.
I mean come on, the guy was out committing armed robberies...while on probation and still living in a halfway house.
First off, Huesman made the call to go for two, not the OC.
Secondly, GSU coach Jeff Monken said he would have done the same things in that position. When you are at home, you go for the tie, when you are on the road, you go for the win (especially when you have the #1 team in the country on the ropes).
The defense was getting tired, they had given up a quick TD on the possession before.
And finally, none of the coaches blamed the players...Huesman said it was completely on him.

The last eyesore on the NorthShore is finally going to be developed. It's about time.

Now go beat Wofford! Go Mocs!
Wiedmer: Terrell Owens should come see the Mocs

He is unrepentant and evil.
Robinson ready to go at QB for Mocs
defense was tired...offense had momentum.
