YES! Bring it on!
It's just rain people
I completely agree Brokentoe. While I, myself, am young (23) and want to be a mother so badly but my husband and I have decided to wait till we are more secure in our future and have the ability to provide for the children we want. I have three younger sibilings, the youngest being 14 years younger than me. I could never see myself or my husband ever putting our children in these types of situations. Once you are a parent you cannot put yourself before them at all. You made the child you must take care of the child. They cannot depend upon themselves. You are their guardian. You are supposed to nuture, love, and take care of your precious babies. It saddens me to see how my generation has turned out. We are the spoiled brats thinking we are owed everything. It really is degusting. I hope some understand that not all of my generation are like the man above and there is hope for us. I just pray this also hope for our children.
FlyingPurpleSheepleEater, you don't even know me so how can you say I am telling the story when I am telling the truth it is not the picture that my complaints fell with it was the lack of programming available on their on demand. I haven't experienced any issues with my Comcast picture, btw.
Compspeed, my issues were as follows: The on demand was terrible. It doesn't even half a quarter of the programming Comcast has to offer. Also whenever I tried to watch something from the DVR or from their On demand my screen would turn solid blue and flash No Signal for a minute solid then continue onto the programming. It was extremely annoying. This happend when I lived in St. Elmo and when I lived of Forest Ave. Please keep in mind this was on a older TV and then it also happend on my new flat scren TV. It also seemed to freeze and then tried to catch up.
I am much more satisfied with Comcast.
I had Comcast but had several issues so I switched to EPB and felt ripped off. The TV fails in comparison. When I recently moved I jumped ship back to Comcast. Best part of it all is apparently while there is no contract with EPB if you cancel within a year they charge a $75.00 cancellation fee that no one tells you about when you call to set-up service because supposidly "It says it on the website." I'm much happier with Comcast this time around and have had no issues.
Geeze, no wonder some people still have misconceptions about the south......
ChattaVol06, why shouldn't it? Children, especially young children, are dependent on their parents for love, comfort, nuturing, food, drink and a safe enviroment that if their parents fail to deliver can be/is child abuse or worse. Animals, all ages of animals, are soley dependent on their owners for love, comfort, nuturing, food, drink and a safe enviroment that if not met can lead to animal cruelty or worse. If people are willing to do it to an animal what is to stop them from doing it to a child? Both rely on said people so why not punish the same?
You forgot to mention that after the judge refused to sign the warrants they took the protesters back into a bus and held them at a parking garage in Nashville for 5 hours!
The occupy movement is just that about jobs and unfair corporate tax breaks. Pammi, most of these people would be more than happy to get a job but are unable to find one or they are overqualified/underqualified etc. For example my father is 44 has numerous certifications in everything from abestos removal to hazmat. He is also a certified truck driver, has over 20 years of award winning management experience, professionally trained in opera and fine arts but since he got laid off 3+ years ago no one will hire him because he is slightly overweight (he even lost over 80 pounds to try to find a job) and diabetic. He is overqualified according to most jobs he applies for. He doesn't care if he makes $7.25 flipping burgers it would be money that his family doesn't currently have but no one will hire him. He has applied for everything from janitor to manager for almost every company in Chattanooga. That is what the Occupy movement is about. Get real people jobs, get this economy fixed, and quit lining your own pockets. Tax the rich don't tax the poor to pay the rich.
While I am not a fan of her music and I do think she is over covered in the news and would prefer more real news I still say "Good for her" She is living the dream most people want.
