While I personally agree with tomatoketchup in order to ensure a fair trial a jury should be brought in from outside Hamilton County. We are all bias because we all KNOW he did and he should be punished to the fullest extent of law but everyone also has the right to a fair trial....unfortunately.

Most of us moved to Hixson or Soddy Daisy to get away from the busy locations like downtown and Hamilton Place area. I, for one, do not want this shopping center and will not shop there if it is built. Hixson has a higher price for homes because you are paying for peace and quiet. This center would remove a good chunk of that.

I would love to have the opportunity to go back to college but it seems since the cost of tutition is going up and up I will never be able to afford it. I'm 23 working full time (as is my fiance) and have been dying to go back to college since I was 20 but when it comes to 4k to pay my bills and make sure we have groceries or 4k (tution + books)on over priced college than I will have to chose my family over myself.

Do not punish the many for the mistakes of the few. They have the same right to build a worship center as we Christians have to build a church.

Wow, real food, planned activities, sounds more like a fun camping trip with a box instead of a tent than it does "experiencing homelessness"

I agree with Esaletnik. Instead of building a new sprawling campus refurbished already standing buildings. Hwy 153 is prime for shopping centers but I agree ExecAsst most of us did move to Hixson or Soddy to get away from the craziness of downtown or Hamilton Place. We are looking to move out to Hixson soon and we would be so upset if this shopping center got built.

Abcd12345, the bible also says to lock up a woman for 7 days while she has her period, do not eat shell fish, to stone children, the bible is also full of stories where incest is okay! Yes, I have the read bible; I attended a private Christian school from Pre-K to 8th grade where we had to literally read the bible every day. I have read it cover to cover more than once. I also come from a highly conservative family. I've also read the books that were taken out because they weren't to the liking of the council that put the bible together. I taken numerous bible history classes and met several preachers, pastors, fathers from all around the world. The bible is outdated, the times have changed, if we still lived according to biblical law we wouldn't have the culture with the luxuries we do now.

Also Abcd12345 would you like examples of homosexual couples from the bible? How about incest couples? Or forced marriages or polygamy? How about the ones where the women are raped and forced into shame while the men carry on with their lives? What about David and Bathsheba? He had her husband killed after all and what about all those polyamorus relationships?!

Do not use the bible to feed your hate. Don't pick and choose your verses. The problem here is we are raised with our southern hate and our preacher's bias that most of us have never truly read the bible.
