That's a great idea Reverend Huckaby, let's close all tax loopholes for the evil rich. And while we are at it, why don't we close the deduction of contributions to churches also. After all why should a rich person be able to make a donation to a church and deduct it from his taxable income. Why should atheists and agnostics have to subsidize a church when they have to make up the difference of tax deductions.

And while we are at it, since cities and counties need revenue, let's also do away with the property tax exemptions for churches. After all we all need to share the pain.

Gee neicey, I have re-read my comment 20 times and I don't see any reference to black teachers unles they are on welfare or live in public housing.

JoAnne is just playing to all the public housing tenants and welfare recipients in her District. Of course they will re-elect her.

20 charges in the past 6 years? Well who would want to shoot such a fine, upstanding citizen as Mr Fennell? Typical black attitude, blame it on everyone except the responsible party.

From reading the idiotic letters from Sewanee in this forum, I can only conclude there must be something strange in the rarified air of Monteagle Mountain.

To suggest that the Supreme Court deemed Corporations to be equal to people in their recent ruling is a real stretch. And to suggest that the people behind the corporations can escape accountability from their actions by hiding, "behind the corporate veil," shows the thinking of someone who needs to come down off the mountain and check out the real world occasionally.

More than likely the rantings of a Liberal Arts Professor or a person who is married to one.

Edna and xyzyra, the world is divided into producers and parasites. The greediest people in the country are the Professional parasites on food stamps and welfare who have lived in public housing all of their life.

The Republicans believe in being responsible for your own life. Maybe the Dems who created the Welfare Society might try it sometime.

Ha, that's all we need , someone who works for Bank of America telling us how to solve our economic problems. Hey Mr Economist, solve your banks problems and THEN you can tell us how to solve ours.

Good one Leaf, obviously you are a product of the Detroit Public School system. A little advice if you don't like it here, take I-24 to I-75 north and in about 12 hours or so you will be back in that cesspool called Michigan.

Went through Basic Training and Radio Mechanic School at the Armor Center in late 69 and early 70. Sorry to see it leave Fort Knox.
