None of us know the circumstances and we can all rant about all these things, but an sweet baby is dead and another fighting for his life. I read the story of the autopsy report and it sickens me. These poor little guys suffered pain that we can't imagine and I pray for God's mercy on everyone that knew and did nothing about it. I pray God's blessings and healing for the people that tried to help!

As a matter of fact, I have 2 jobs...and you need to take a spelling class or a typing class so that you can respond appropriately to my comments. As for the comment about the mother causing the father trouble, really...that would be a bit hard since she is in jail. I guess you live in public housing, that is how you have so much knowledge about the benefits. Get real!

CHILD CARE HELP??? She didn't even have to work....she got everything free, why in the h@ll would she need child care? And for the quote of the father "checking on him this morning" really??? Why is he not sitting up there with this little boy? Oh, I bet he has a job to go to.

Wow..yet another murder near public housing...what is happening? E Lake Court residents whine about their officers that they don't like, but it looks as if there needs to be a police station at every corner to keep murders for happening...I know bad things happen all over the city...but is is VERY prominant in public housing....MAKE THESE PEOPLE...red, yellow, black or white get a job! AND then...maybe not so much time on their hands to "gang bang" and murder!

DHS needs to get off their @ss and do something IMMEDIATELY...I called the animal shelter about abused puppies and got more of a response...I believe 3 other children were hurt just a couple of weeks ago that had an open case...an open case don't mean crap if it is not followed! No one can imagine the fear and pain these little fellows went through! I agree with other post..it is not a "white or black" thing...taxpayers pay for food and shelter for these women white black purple or blue...to make more babies...they don't have to work, so have PLENTY of time...as for the mom and boyfriend in this case and all other child abuse cases...I hope the get what they deserve in prison!! Again, taxpayers supporting them...I almost agree with the comment of "bring back public hanging" and then these child abusers, molesting scabs of society would not be near brave enough to act upon their "rage" This was a big man to beat these poor little guys...wonder if that made him feel empowered?

I patrolled the riverfront on the downtown side for 2 years and met many homeless people, and found that if you just treat them as human, let them get to know you and you them, build a relationship, you will find that there is a huge percentage of them that show respect, apprecieate a listening ear. i am also a minister and feed/clothe them as much as possible. i have personaly met the president of The Homeless Coalition of Chattanooga, and talked with her about what i do, Her words to me was "here is my card, just call and i will assist you in any and every way possible'.....after many months of calling with no answer or call back,i gave up on them, the mayor has declared not only does chattanooga not have a homeless crisis, but also said that for the size of the city,we do not have a gang problem....i extended an invitation for them to come walk my beat with me and see for themselves...again NO RESPONSE. In the case where this fire was started, why did the witness just watch.....i think he was not homeless at all but placed there to be a lookout ,how long did it take before the fire department got the call??? and respond??? Not All homeless people are bad people. not all of them are out there because they choose to be...why dont the director/president of the Homelss coalition of Chattanooga along with the mayor go spend a few nights out under a bridge.... and dont take all the supplies with you,, rough it,just like the homeless people have to do many a time.!
