It IS a black GANG problem here. So, those of you who want to make excuses, make them. However, it IS a black GANG problem here. As far as Portland, OR is concerned, that sounds like a WHITE SKINHEAD PROBLEM.

Call it what it is and quit making excuses. Also, any person who blames this BLACK GANG problem on lack of opportunities, white oppression, etc., is just full of it. There are plenty of opportunities for blacks and whites if they simply take advantage of them. The fact is that doing well in school is thought to be "acting white" amongst many black kids.

Guess what? If you go to a job interview and say, "ax" instead of "ask," you probably won't get the job. Stop expecting everyone to come down to your level instead of going up to their level.

If things are going to change, the black community has to STEP UP!

Who would walk out? An ignoramaus who cares more about getting her way than she cares about doing her job, that's who! SHe is an absolute disgrace. I have never met a more vidictive, bitter, spiteful person than her. All she cares about is getting her way and if she doesn't get that way or if there is too much opposition, she withdraws from the situation. Hey Rhonda ... How about LISTENING sometime instead of WAITING TO TALK???

Everyone knows how lousy and full of BS this officer is. He is LAZY, has been caught watching TV and making pizzas when he should have been doing HIS JOB. Hmmmm ... could THAT have been WHY he was demoted? I have never seen a bigger bunch of whiners than those officers who ousted Sneed. I guess some of these lowly patrol officers thought they were going to run the department then. Call the waaaaaaaaambulance.

Oh, and FALSIFY documents? Right. TWO judges now have said that was a good and proper arrest to get a .15 drunk driver off the road.

GROW UP!!!

Since reading this story, I have asked a number of people about Judge Houston and have heard some really nice things about him. First, he is a judge AND an attorney. He is the part-time Red Bank Judge, but a full time attorney as well. Second, he is well-liked and respected by other attorneys, judges, AND police. Third, his role in the case is over. He heard the case, politely listened to the facts and treated all the attorneys well, sent the case to the grand jury, and THEN made these comments. Maybe a little out of the ordinary, but who DOES NOT AGREE with what he said? These thugs should have been executed on the spot!

I am told that the case now goes to the grand jury and then goes to criminal court. Judge Houston's time in the case is over and would have been over no matter what he said. ALSO, the case was apparently set a couple of weeks ago and Judge Houston reset it because he wanted to make sure that competent attorney were appointed given the "complex legal issues involved." Thats what a person told me who was in the court on that day.

In my opinion, you have a fine man as judge up there, who has been doing a great job in a city where most public officials cannot seem to do anything right.

I bet that's the first time anyone has told these thugs what they needed to hear. What about the dead young man and HIS family?

I say, "three cheers for Judge Houston!!" for telling it like it is.
