Did he not make improper contact with the Tenn Titans asst. coach? I know it's a pro team, but USC was and is appealing NCAA sanctions. I believe his action was a "thumb your nose" at the NCAA.
ps Appealing NCAA sanctions could possibly bring more punishment, not less, to USC. Time will tell.
