Saxby had absolutely NO problem with giving the wealthy a tax cut while the U.S. was launching two wars in the Middle East (for the first time in U.S. history, I might add). But push government dollars into the U.S. economy in a way that might help average, middle class taxpayers and suddenly he's a deficit hawk? His ilk were largely responsible for the budget mess we're currently in!
The "controversial" aspects of the Stimulus Bill are less than 1% of the total. But Republican members of Congress would prefer to stiff everybody while they try to make political hay out of that 1%
