The City Council meeting tonight has been moved to 3 PM as opposed to six oclock. It's being held at the Building off lindsay st like always. It's the city council asking questions and i think the public is allowed to ask questions as well.. PLEASE SHOW UP AND SUPPORT GETTING RID OF THESE SCOUNDRALS!

An earlier article clearly states that USDA received complaint reports from a source on January 14, at least a week before the passing of Hank. Any idiot can see that it's a coincidence that he should pass at the time that the previous deaths were brought to light. This whole situation can be looked at in many ways, but for the most part it all just builds on another. The media didn't know that Hank would pass away the day the news broke, but I will say I bet reporters figured it would be a good time to bring up the previous deaths while they had the publics attention. Somebody needs to look at it from the point of view that maybe Hank's passing brought attention additionally to the other lossed lives. For that we should remember Hank's passing as a a rememberance of not only him, but others. One animals is no more important than you or I, or any other animal. All the animals who have passed away deserve the same respect and mourning. So let us all mourn for them and save the ones that we still can!!

Does anybody else find it interesting that the director requested the reports not be released until after the zoo has seen them first? I smell a cover up going on. If they weren't concerned about anything why not let everybody see them at the same time? Am I right?

I'm glad to finally see that not everybody in the City of Chattanooga is a complete idiot! It's so obvious to see that the whole structure is completely corrupt. Everybody wipes each others butts when trouble heads their way. It's as if all of these "head officials" know exactly how insignificant they are so in order to try to fake dominance they try to make everything somebody else's fault instead of taking responsibility. And as a comment on the article in question, Bond's employer, Are you serious?? Anybody can read that article and clearly see that it was simply stating that she now works there. Not that she was a rep for them, not that she was sharing their opinion. The reporter was simply stating that she now works there.. plain and simple. Anybody who reels that to be more than that is a fool. Bond commented as a citizen, not an employee... do you think she would have gotten fired if she had commented on a topic about homeless folks or recycling? I highly-HIGHLY doubt it. This is just another prime example of City people sticking it to the little man. I feel sorry for the people of Chattanooga and their future if people are so arrogant to try and make everything personal. As for Ms. Bond, You go Girl!! You and all your comrades trying to save those helpless animals in the zoo! The animals are blessed to truly have people like you all to help speak for them. It's obvious that something is going wrong at that place, if it weren't its reps wouldn't be so hard pressed to make it look like you are disgruntled. If these were false accusations they would happily be willing to turn over all documents and invite all inspections as opposed to accusing other people. It also seems that zoo officials are taking personal offense, which is just silly. The whole subject was a matter of concern for animals, not the competency staff. This is all silly... when is Peta arriving? Anyone know?!
