You must put the correct information on the TSSAA forms and you must check the correct box. Because if you lie you will get caught. I'm sure Tim is a great kid, but this decision is all about Bill Price, and that Price is above the TSSAA policy makers. I'm shock no one has mention that Tim was trying to get in Cleveland High this summer but was told no way they could get him legal. You will never win a fight against the TSSAA.

Don't think for a minute this all about Tommy Layne, I know of at least 12 to 15 schools that has called the TSSAA. Tommy represents all schools in his district on the TSSAA Board of Controls, elected by the schools. Principals and Coaches wants everyone to play by the rules and Signal Mt. Is NOT.

Listen folks, I know Mr. Bill Price very very well, he knew exactly what he was doing when HE did the paper work. Bill will lie to his wife Debbie to win a game. I think SMHS attorney hurt them more than he helped. He should have never pointed his finger at Tommy Layne, all that did was make the other board members mad. Any one who has ever coached in the state of Tennessee knows that this case had to be filed as a hardship with the TSSAA. Hamilton County Schools CAN NOT make him eligible to play athletics, only TSSAA. Make no bones about it, Bill Price runs the show on the mountain, not Chip Baker, not the principal, and not the AD. No way that the TSSAA changes this ruling, who cares when the school was notified, everyone involved knew. So sit down and take your punishment like the big boys you want to be. Enough said!
