Last year wasn't technically "the most disastrous season in the history of University of Tennessee football", although it WAS terrible.
The MOST disastrous Johnny Major's first season (1977) when UT went 4-7.
Also deserving mention would be the 1891 team (0-1), 1892 team (2-5), and 1906 and 1909 (1-6-2) both seasons.
More about the article above-- I like Coleman's attitude, and I hope he gets a shot at starting next season. I don't believe that he is the only Vol who welcomes the more strict training regimen, though-- players come to UT because they want to win.
UT's Garza has experience vs. SEC teams
Good attitude. Glad he's at UT.
Cregg was a top Kiffin choice
Actually, Cregg is earning WAAAAAYYYYY less than that. He is earning $150,000 per year right now. Still a good paycheck, but not "a cool $mil". http://www.govolsxtra.com/news/2009/jan/22/33m-salary-for-assistants-may-top-nation/
