Weekend winner: I nominate Mo'ne Davis and the Little League team from Philly.
Rushmore of tandems: speaking of Redford, I nominate 'Butch Cassidy + The Sundance Kid'. From baseball: Maris + Mantle, Spahn + Sain, Brooks + Frank.
Future Rushmore: double-play tandems. I will hang up + listen.
Stewwie: you know why a 6th class is needed in this state...more $$$ for the TSSAA.
5 rounds of playoffs * 6 classifications = 186 playoff games = $$$.
Plus the privates...
From my source in K-town...the good: as DT P Brown reported, Hurd + the Berry twins [both of them] are the real deal. The bad: there is not a QB on this team that can get them to a bowl game [6 wins]. The ugly: the kickers.
Along w/ another 199 Moc fans, I went to the scrimmage Saturday at Finley. We may have the best team speed since the late '70s; one of those teams went 9-1-1.
Haven't there been some baseball players that have blown-out ankles hitting 1st base...Tim Hudson, Jason Kendall, others? Buster Posey's ankle at a home plate collison (?)
BJ Coleman...Go Big Blue! Go Mocs!
Vol fans: remember '80s RB Kenneth "B.B." Cooper? Not to be confused w/ plane hijacker DB Cooper...
Showing my age here...singer BJ Thomas...made famous by the soundtrack from "Butch Cassidy + the Sundance Kid".
Jay-G wrote: "Don;t self yourself short Judge, your a tremendous slouch."
Where is the 'grammar check'? War Eagle!
C-Niner: My take is the Auburn PD [+ the Tuscaloser PD?] are more 'student' friendly than the Athens PD + the K-town Police/Knox Co Sheriff.
And thanks for droppin' in. As Jay-G would say "pull up a chair anytime."
Stewwie: As usual, another quality post. You always bring great perspective.
MT: You're no slouch yourself. On the other hand, I am a tremendous slouch. Go Mocs !!
MT: Reckon Jomo will hang around in NJ til Saturday to watch CFC play for the NPSL championship?
MT: I am guessing uga under Richt has had more arrests than UT under Spanky. Is that a mailbag question? Probably not...too many to count on both sides. Thank goodness our Mocs have been good boys this year...so far...
