Well it is obvious that a recall can be done in accordance with city charter unless all info has not been submitted or he is counting on a loophole to free him from this suddsudden challenge. I simply say face the re-election odds , convey what he has done so far & address the discontent of those calling for his removal. Until he does that he is only prolonging the inevitable.
I don't view Mr. Rico's statements as racist stupid maybe but not racist. At the end of the day it should be obvious that there is an effort to dilute the impact of voting in certain areas. Should a strong organizational campaign happen said areas there obviously would be a power shift. This should not turn into a convo about who is getting assistance or not b/c statistically more whites get assistance than blacks , black people r just the poster kids for that subject. Our conversation should be centered around what is fair for all citizens of this city. What will that take & do we have the officials who possess the courage & competence to do what needs to be done.
