I think it would have been useful if this article would have provided resources for help. Even knowing that there is basically nothing you can do to force someone that isnt a minor to go to rehab, there should be some type of assistance, someone to reach out to for help. Why shouldn't a concerned family, or our legal system, be able to force someone to go to inpatient treatment, away from their temptaions and dealers! Why is it that this is such a HUGE concern but you can drive to the Private Clinic and get put on Methadone treatment by simply saying you are addicted to pain meds. Pay a few dollars a day, falsley pass a required drug test and get your fix, or sell it or whatever the case may be. The methadone clinic is only a legal way for all of these addicts to get their high, legally, while they are still doing the other drugs that they are suppose to be getting off of. Lethal mixture. Governed, approved and legal. So please, as a concerned family member of someone on the path that this article so clearly defines....tell me where you go, what you do to help.
