A coach having that kind of relationship with a player is definitely recruiting, read your TSSAA rules yet again......Article may hurt situation and not help it at all.

What schools are paired with Signal Mtn? Is Lookout Valley paired with Signal Mountain? Heard tale today that may have a player who lives or should I say resides in Lookout Valley? As far as baseball goes someone quoted on Coach T that baseball season was a while away......HHHHHMMMM sounds like to me people need to start scrambling to get their ducks in a row. Oh wait a minute, Baseball program is not very strong up there so maybe no one is interested. ;) "Your killin me smalls" Straight from the horses mouth!

Sounds like they need to invistigate the baseball team as well. I again agree how is it a hardship to attend a school just a couple of miles from your house, but not a hardship to drive twenty miles up the mountain? Quit pointing fingers and own up to the mistakes. Shame on those who knew and know where any of these athletes live that or out of zone. This has nothing to do with NCLB it has to do with only wanting W's for the athletic teams. For a community who wanted a school so bad why do you condone kids from outside the community coming in and taking community kids places on the playing field? Makes absolutely no sense at all....

I totally agree with most comments above about the kids being punished because of coaches mistakes. It was only a matter of time, stupidity will eventually rear its ugly head. Hardships are a joke.......Why would anyone apply for a hardship to drive up to SMMHS from anywhere in the valley? Sounds like someone needs to notify TSSAA about the baseball program as well. Heard some comments today thruogh a real estate broker about a student being heavily recruited to play football next year there. Supposedly a Signal parent has real estate properties that are easily rented to provide a temporary address. This person was told that proof of residencey could be taken care of through this......
