esale, some of us think unemployment past a few months is welfare. Next thing you will be asking for a tax increase to pay for schools and roads.

MPHSEX PS - 7900 employees? In your dreams. Get real! Amazon does collect sales taxes for a couple of states and TN is one of 24 who are considering making them provide a list of all in-state sales so they can come knock on your door if you haven't paid your taxes as required by law.

It sucks. If I had a something that had good sales from the internet and equal sales from walkin, I would move from Chattanooga to N. GA near Cosco. I'd advertise "No Sales Tax" for Tennesseans who called in or ordered on line. That's nearly a 10% advantage that I would have over Tennessee retailers, other than Amazon.

I wonder how many filed against BP yesterday. I'm sure the courts in LA, MS & AL had to work overtime.

Our gal from UGA would dispute those numbers. So would the 13,000 in the seafood industry who haven't found the jobs they lost last May.

I'm glad my bonds were called a couple of years ago since they defaulted on some recently. I'm sure the county governments down there will make the holders whole.

What about Southwest? They don't charge a fee.

More than 25 employees will be based at the new facility. I wonder how many are presently based at the three facilities that will closed. Is it a net gain or loss? At $35k per acre for that land, I would hope there is a gain of ten minimum. That land is to produce new jobs, not to cut jobs. With McKee & M&M here, ADM isn't going anywhere.

I hate to say this but when you think you are getting something for nothing, it's usually nothing. Why did he think he could buy it for less than Southern Bullion would pay after they went there to determine it's value.
