I know police officers work hard when they work,just like fire fighters,if they have the same retirement plan,they should be paid the same way also.The only problem i have as a tax payer is that most of the officers have take home cars,and work extra jobs with these cars,and who pays for the cars, servicing and most all the gasoline for the cars.I would gripe so much about my overtime pay,if i had a take home car with everything paid for..

Do we need 4 more yrs.of our current mayor,ask any city employee who doesn't wear a tie.Just look at all of the bad news that has been swept under the carpet,problems the city has had and nothing has been done.

City director of general services-sexual harassment-living in Georgia-fired from Fort Oglethorpe(wonder why)can't ask our mayor,you have to talk to his spokesman.

Mayor found free land and 40 millon for a car plant,but we can't feed or shelter our homeless.A million would build a decent shelter,but the Mayor is more willing to lease art for the river front and other places around town and spend millions to repair the riverfront(but he did have old parking meters put up around town for spare change for the homless)all the info here was in the paper,only thing on the front page,the car plant imagine that)I just hope the people in Chatt.wake up and see what has gone on here the last 4 yrs.Bush is gone now it is time for our Mayor to go.
