I don't know how the airport can say their operations were not effected. One runway was already shut down before the hard landing while it took the airport over an hour to clear the other runway. People missed their connecting flights because of how long it took to clear the runway.
If the CMAA was worried about costs to customers, they would lower $0.13 a gallon flowage fee and the 2% collection on all services at the airport - THAT is the reason some people have pulled out.
