Bravo to the Times for supporting the Wisconsin demonstrators. These days, it seems, are getting more and more perilous for unions. These times remind me of a rehash of what happened over a 150 years ago during the time of the 'Robber Barons' At that time the AFL and UMW and CIO unions were formed, and the struggle for workers rights began. Today, blame Republicans for trying to destroy the organizations that were responsible for abolishing child labor, establishing the 40hr. work week, sick leave, and overtime. Our middle class is shrinking and we cannot much longer tolerate all the wealth in this country being controled by an increasing minority.

I graduated from UTC in 1974 with a degree in Psych. I probably had some classes with you. I was never in the Military, so I am a little younger than you. Keep the intelligent comments coming. Maybe someday something will sink in to some of these folks.
