I canoe on the river. have all the safety equipment required by uscg. Not one time has a recreational boater slowed for me to no wake when I have been transiting, launching or getting out of the river. Courtesy seems to be only a word, not a deed. I don't canoe in the area the River Gorge Explorer works, there's too much traffic.
What I do see is that what's good for the goose is good for the gander. These folks ranting about one big boat should look behind themselves and see what they are doing to their less mobile neighbors on the water. From my view in the canoe, if these folks are going to talk the talk, they need to walk the walk. They make wakes, too.
