I wish I could share your lovely story. But you don't know the "real" story of how people are treated! My sister was sent to the newly opened facility in Chattanooga, TN. The facility was made aware of her numerous medical problems when they accepted to her to the program at the facility. After she was there about two weeks, she got sick and had to be sent to the hospital for emergency surgery. When she was released from the hospital a few days later, they refused to keep her. They "conveniently" called my elderly parents on a Friday afternoon to pick her up, knowing there was no one at the Court House to contact regarding what was happening. (Please keep in mind my parents are 76 and 73 respectively); my father was just diagnosed w/prostate cancer and starting treatment; my mother just released from the hospital and medical rehab for back surgery. They were totally unable and unprepared to care for her! I just want you people to know that I have now lost my sister due to this, in part. I hold this facility at least responsible in part by the way they released my sister to my parents, with them both advising they couldn't care for her. They were assured that within a few days my sister would be moved to a new facility. What a joke! Once they got rid of her, we never heard from them again, except when I made a call to the director in Nashville, who assured me things were being taken care of.....well I guess they were. She's dead! Hope everyone's happy now!!!!!!!!
