Our institutions are failing us: Politicians are more concerned about getting re-elected than solving problems. Public school teachers are more concerned about their job security than educating our children. The war on drugs is devastating our poor neighborhoods by arresting street pushers and sending them to prison where they become expert criminals. The stock market is run by gangs wearing white shirts and ties. Our institutions of higher learning have increased costs to the point that only the wealthy can afford to send their kids. The military/industrial complex wants our country to police the world while they get rich and our young men and women are dying. We could afford national healthcare if we stopped being the world's cops. Globalization is lowering our standard of living so we can compete with third world countries.
Have a nice day.
Alprova said "It is still possible and probable that there are people among us who live their daily lives without such an I.D. in their pockets. There are people who cannot produce the documentation necessary to procure an I.D."
The answer is: Illegal immigrants and dead people.
Some people say a man is made outta mud A poor man's made outta muscle and blood Muscle and blood and skin and bones A mind that's a-weak and a back that's strong
You load sixteen trillion, what do you get Another day older and deeper in debt Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go I owe my soul to the government store
I was born one mornin' when the sun didn't shine I picked up my shovel and I walked to the mine I loaded sixteen trillion of government debt And the straw boss said "Well, a-bless my soul"
You load sixteen trillion, what do you get Another day older and deeper in debt Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go I owe my soul to the government store
I was born one mornin', it was drizzlin' rain Fightin' and trouble are my middle name I was raised in the canebrake by an ol' mama lion Cain't no-a high-toned woman make me walk the line
You load sixteen trillion, what do you get Another day older and deeper in debt Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go I owe my soul to the government store
If you see me comin', better step aside A lotta men didn't, a lotta men died One fist of iron, the other of steel If the right one don't a-get you Then the left one will
You load sixteen trillion, what do you get Another day older and deeper in debt Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go I owe my soul to the government store

Why don't we just outlaw all forms of identification and conduct all business on the honor system?

I'm just a simple person who doesn't know much. Can someone tell me how a voter without a photo I.D. can cash a payroll or government check?
Should UT get rid of Derek Dooley?
The decision should wait until the end of football season.
