I lived in London, England for a while and noticed the police were very polite and respectful toward the people. If the police in this country tried being polite and respectful toward the people, I think the people would be more cooperative, polite, and respectful with the police. When you treat people like crap, it comes back to you.

Both parties are corrupt and beholden to special interests. Politicians from both parties become more corrupt the longer they stay in office. Throw the bums out!

That's like asking "Why do robbers rob banks?" Because that's where the money is. Police target black neighborhoods because that's where the street crime is.

If a limit is placed on the amount of money that is spent to buy free speech, would the news media agree to limit the number of words or articles that it publishes about a candidate or a party?

Obama's buddy, Warren Buffett, owns the railroad that currently transports the Canadian oil through the United States from Canada. When the pipeline is built, Buffett's railroad will lose that business. By the way, pipelines are much safer than trains.
