The Republicans APPEAR to want a Strong Military force but at the same time want to destroy and weaken the government for the people and by the people, without supporting a strong Balanced economic system where sacrifices are made by everybody.
The Re Creation Of PRIVATE sector Production Jobs in the USA is the Key to the Recovery of the 2007 deep recession AND at this time the help of the US Government is needed to help re-create these jobs since the private corporations will not do the proper thing of reinvesting here in the USA without subsidies and incentives.
Getting more Jobs would reduce the needed entitlements and increase the tax base.
Are the US consumers helping recreate the private sector middle class jobs when the TRADE deficit is running $42 to $46 BILLION DOLLARS per month?
How many people or groups of people would try to keep the masses of people from learning anything?
It appears that there were not any comments about the false education process of getting all of the students to go into debt just to support the already elite educators who have their own society?
There is another money maker for keeping the education system going and that is the money from all of the "foreign" students who are bringing their money here to support the system.
Everyone cannot be dependent on making a living as a service related job without the money earned by the workers earning money by "making" the goods here in the USA being used by everybody.

After President Obama took office in January 2009 the Republican's actions have been of disavowal and despicable in the House and Senate to publicly announce their objective was to cause President Obama's failure. Therefore preventing and obstructing the recovery of the 2007 recession. This action should be called a traitorous act against this Republic and the people.
After the arrogance shown by these "enemies" of President Obama and of this country, it causes me to be opposed to anybody who tries to "lie their way back into power and that President Obama has been a complete failure after having tried to cause him to be a failure.

The current state of the labor market is significantly disrupting their ability to do so, with consequences that will ripple through their careers for many years.
Clay is doing more for the Veterans than all of you opponents of President Obama want to admint. Keeping the Republicans out of control by keeping the voters informed is doing a lot for the VeteraNS.
Again, we have a situation in the USA that there are not enough jobs for the everyone who wants to work including the Veterans and there is a certain Party who has made it their objective to cause the failure of this country and has not done anything to create jobs here in the USA, but actually have caused the slowing of the recovery of the 2007 deep recession, making it harder for everyone to keep and find a job. rick1, Just like many other people, you appear to be sitting back ready to criticize in a narrow minded thinking about something that should be covered and looked at in a comprehensive manner.
In my opinion, there are many people who frown and "look down their noses" at the people who volunteer to serve in the military. Then after they join, are begrudged their living off of the tax dollars.
What about the military "Leaders" who are under the command of the President of these United States and they make the decisions which involve all of our volunteer military?
The history has already been written of what our all "voluntary" military will and can do when "ORDERED" into war. Now that the History has been written on the decision to SELECT the invasion of Iraq, the people who made that decision find it hard to rewrite what actually occurred.
Everything that has happened since the 9/11 attacks in 2001 should be fresh in every person's mind as to what occurred and to how we have gotten into the all of these unfinished crisis conditions and why these conditions still persist.
