The event was put forward as some kind of a job fair. It was all about suppliers. Oh yes and this event was just another opportunity for the mayor to get his name connected to the new plant and get some pics taken for publicity. Attendees were simply directed to drop off their resume and fill out an online application. That's why they were lined up 30 and 40 deep...to get to a computer and fill out an application. We were also told to just keep checking their website for listings. Thanks for wasting my time. I could have done that from home or the library, rather than waste my time and my gas.
