I have known Martin personally for years. I had heard this a while back. He will be missed by our community as a state legislator. Martin was not scared to vote against measures that weren't good for our district even when it meant going against the GOP leadership. Martin was a true conservative while in office. He voted against new fees last year. He told me that unless the state budget went down the amount these new fees would generate it was a tax increase in his mind. Meanwhile others in the State house voted yes because it was a hidden tax. I will miss him in the State house and hope we get someone of his caliber to replace him. I wish him well in his new endeavors. Charles can go get in his car with the rest of the democrats in Dade County if he could find enough to fill his car. I was disappointed with his comments. Martin has served us well. Well done Martin I hope you will pass on your knowledge and experience to whoever takes over your position. Oh yeh, Charles you better be getting ready because the re-districting lines will be established to turn Menlo from D to R.
Looks like the claim of more accidents and traffic deaths is false according to politifact.
We applaud Jeff Mullis for voting in favor of this bill.
Good to see the TFP giving the Georgia Assembly some time this year. I will be giving up to date coverage over at http://www.georgialegislativewatch.com/
It is looking good for our legislators in NW Georgia this year.
Looks like lookout has some of the best wind in the state.
Tell them to come to Dade. We don't have any zoning. I live in the valley but bring me a lease I'll sign it and then hang Christmas tree lights off of it. My thoughts are here
Dade County Water and Sewer is already hooked up to TN American so it can already indirectly withdraw.
Let's not forget he is in favor of raising sin taxes
