CNN allows comments on stories...I don't see them crying about it
Actually that isn't true. On CNN when posters ban together and complain about a certain they've decided they don't like CNN will withold the poster's comment each time the poster post something, pending the decision of a moderator monitoring the board. That doesn't imply the poster said anything inflammatory, derogatory, or racially insensitive. It just means fellow posters who have become friends, like in a clique, know they have power in numbers. So they complain enmasse limit or deny altogether a poster's comments they've come together to dislike. Posters have even had fellow posters permanently banned from CNN by grouping together and making several complaints agains the poster.
Well, at least we got, the nation and the world got a chance to see just how much racism, bigotry and intolerance still exist in Chattanooga and pretty much all over the nation in 21St century America.
That much won't change we can just go back to pretending. After all, out of sight out of mind

Great comments fedup. What chiok and all other Dems fail to point out in criticizing GWB is that in 2009 and 2010 they controlled the WH
But the sh%t started long before 2009 and 2010. The arsonist {Bush and company} set the house {America} on fire and ran long before Obama took office. The good samaritain comes along and at least attempts to put the fire out and keep the damage to minimum, but the arsonist and his supporters keep starting mini fires behind the scene, and stopping the water flo. And preventing much needed material to begin the repair. No wonder this country is so &&#! up! You people are sick!*

pretty insightful.fed up! and it's self perpetuating! after 3 generations on the dole they
jesse, who's that they you're referring to? We'll just take it for granted you're referring to black people. Well, there have been generations upon generations of whites on some form of the dole dating back to and including western slavery.

To chioK_V , you are a prime example of the a hypocritical liberal democrat. It was your president, your savior obama that bailed out the big corporations
LOL! It's amazing just how quick these so-called GOP conservatives tend to suddenly have memory loss.
excerpt/Sept. 2008_: U.S. President George W. Bush, saying "our entire economy is in danger," urged Congress to approve his administration's $700 billion bailout proposal.
"We're in the midst of a serious financial crisis, and the federal government is responding with decisive actions," Bush said in a televised address Wednesday night from the White House.
Obama was not in office when the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act was enacted. Nor was Obama in office when 1.8 trillion dollar bailout was enacted.
Keep trying though. You conservatives really amaze me. You exploit everything even God. You'd throw your own granny under the bus if you could benefit from it. What you say and what you do are polar opposites. Take this conservative from Mississippi:
"A conservative Mississippi mayor has said he is gay after an audit showed he had the city pay for a wide range of personal expenses, including a visit to a gay sex store in Canada.
"Southaven Mayor Greg Davis revealed publicly for the first time Thursday that he is gay,_"
Don't get me wrong. There's nothing wrong with being gay in my book. You don't even have to be truthful about it. That's a personal choice. However, it's diabolical to get before the public and point fingers at anyone, even fellow gays, who doesn't agree with your far right wing cause, and accusing them of having no values, morals and all those self-righteous things you right wingers claim to have, but DON'T!

Tommy Brown was making racist statements long before Rico was
Like when Rico made the not really funny remark when a former council member complained about little black children having to play basketball in the streets in their neighborhood due to lack of a recreation facility close by, and he was afraid of accidently running over one of them? To which rico replied, "Why stop?"
And I disagree that Rico should step down. Just saying there's many sides to the issue, and that Rico is not the innocent little Mexican choirboy he attempts to be.
The only way the Democratic Party exists today is because they have created a culture of people who are totally dependent on the government for food, clothing, housing and every other basic need.
If what you say is true, fedup, then the Republican Party must only exist for the sole purpose of when those rich corporations need a handout to bail them out with billions and even trillions of federal (yours and my) tax dollars, when they've screwed up.

I have noticed on many of your post that you always refer to Chattanooga as to your city, never as to our city. Just wondering are you actually a citizen of Hamilton County or the city of Chattanooga? If not, how do you have such insight or knowledge as to what others may or may not say behind someones back as you stated above?
How do I have such insight or knowledge? That could be either one or many reasons. Either I was once a resident, I have family and friends who still are and then there's always the hidden internet discussion forums that's really not all that hidden. Chalk it up to any one or all three and add a few more, if you like. ;)

Yep, that's right Chiok. As long as blacks stay on the Democrat Plantation and keep electing idiots like Brown they will remain the poorest and dumbest of all demographic groups.
And what about the masses of poor whites? What do you suggest is their problem?

The fact that an idiot like Tommie Brown is both a member of the Legislature and an Educator says a lot about why our country is in the shape it is today
So when Rico say and does stupid sh%t, he's exercising his freedom to express himself as an American citizen. When Tommie Brown responds in kind to his idiotic remarks, expressing her freedoms as an American citizen, she's an idiot?
aaawwwwwhhhhh! A case of, you can say idiotic sh%t as long as it's on the side and in favor of the status quo? PRICELESS!
The sad thing is, many of you think what you're supporting vs what and who you're attacking will only hurt a certain class and race of the population. The truth is you're biting off your nose to spite your face.
The poor, as they've always done, will survive. It's the middle to upper-middle classes unable to cope who will be jumping off of buildings and bridges and committing murder suicides of entire families when and if the sh%t hits the fan.
