Ok, they elected him despite his being gay. So you can eliminate that as the reason for a recall. The main agenda he is pushing looks nothing like what he ran on, that is the reason for the recall. Another thing, the writer of this story, or Anderson's attorney either, don't set the bar for why or if a recall is in order, the voters do. So, again, everyone knew he was gay and in a long term relationship when he was elected, anyway. This is not a gay or straight issue, it is a fiscal, tax payer and voter issue, please try to understand, that or else he would have never been elected in the first place. Good grief.

His cartoons are just fine with me, shows his intelligence, regardless as to how well he can draw. Give it a few years and no one will be able to pay his salary because the TFP will be gone and the enabling of the current liberal policies will be why. Buy the ticket, take the ride. Liberal = no common sense.

Anyone that thinks a TIF is an answer for anything needs to read this. California has more experience with TIF than anyone and have eliminated it from being used now. Is it not a wise decision to take a look at the history of Tax Incremental Financing before it cripples the local economy also?

You listen up Pam, there are provisions in the law for recalls, just like there are laws to even have elections in the first place. If people want to exercise that right and law, just exactly what are you whining about? It is a law and the voters, the actual voters in Anderson's district, that will decide his fate via the ballot box. What is your problem with that? Maybe it is you, and others like you, that agree with politicians saying one thing to get elected then take on a personal agenda from the beginning of their term that was NEVER mentioned during the campaign. However, the provision for recalls are to provide a way to negate such travesty's, quit whining and understand, once again, it is the voters right via the law. Period.

What a bunch of crap, a TIF is a taxpayer ripoff. Also, Aetna Mountain Road is a public road and 4 wheel drives or anyone else is allowed to use it, hence, PUBLIC ROAD. Quit your spin and lying. Read about the TIF freak show right here!

Weston and his dad, that did not hold office when Obama came to town, made sure they did the meet and greet with Obama. So why would the Wamps go to the trouble to visit Obama if they were so much against him? Not much conservative character shown if you ask me. Click on the link and go to the 22 picture, also watch the video, they act like they approve of Obama.

Naysayer? Possible restaurant, jewel of the city this, next big thing that. Every time the TIF crowd needs a new tax assistance ploy they can count on the writer of this story. The naysayer was exactly correct when they said ""TDOT [the Tennessee Department of Transportation] is spending $40,000,000 on an exit revamp to partly assist the developers of the old Wheland property. That money could be used to fix I-24 in order to keep people alive,". Read this: We don't have the money for the so called "developers" to find a "master developer" to go with a $40,000,000 tax payer investment when I-24 is killing people almost everyday. When was the last time you heard of anyone getting killed trying to get to Broad Street from I-24 because of the exit, have you ever, really? Another thing, Rock City is in Georgia, when was the last time Tennessee built a $40,000,000 exit to facilitate a Georgia attraction? Exactly, this is a big tax payer sucker punch!
