TSSAA pulled the brackets from the website. Apparently some mistakes were made on the seedings. The above listings are now out of date.
Now, I'm not an expert by any means, but I could have sworn that the TSSAA said the teams would grouped geographically. So why is Tyner, a 2nd place region team, traveling to Alcoa in the first round? And furthermore, why is a #6 seed (Tyner) playing a #1 seed? Last I checked, a #6 seed should play a #3 seed, which in this instance is Bledsoe County (and half the driving distance of Alcoa as well).
So over the course of a 2 hour selection show, the TSSAA disregards the efforts of an entire season...
