I have been using KISSLD for the last 10+ years here in NJ, for LD only, never used VoIP or local. 0.03/min nationwide/Canada and reasonable (although not the absolute cheapest) international. 6 sec. billing on everything. Never had any trouble. If you are looking for an inexpensive, reliable LD provider, this is a good bet.
I am concerned that their business is shrinking - I do not want to look for someone else. I tried a couple of VoIPs, including Vonage (right up the road from me...), they suck. I may be tempted to try 1Phone... Will see.
