I'm against religion of any kind in an official government capacity. So are many liberal Christian denominations.

I also don't want, "In Satan we Trust, In Allah We Trust, or In Glinda, the Good Witch of the South We Trust" either.

There's a big difference between the veterans of WW2, Korea, and Vietnam and the veterans of today's wars.

With the debacle of Vietnam, the rise of military/corporate/defence suppliers and contractors, the profitability of continued US imperialism, and the use of the US military as mercenaries for corporations and Congressional and government neo-cons, it is no longer the case of Americans fighting for America.

Today's military has become corporate, killing and being killed, not to protect the homeland, but to protect and increase profits.

I can not, in good conscience, support those who participate in such actions. While there are good people in the military, and I wish them no harm, they have become part of an ever-increasing force used in dishonorable ways.

I will not encourage anyone to join today's military, and will encourage anyone in the military to leave before they are killed or kill in the name of corporate profits.

I'm also quite confident that the individuals you "consulted" are as fictious as the rest of your claims.

Why don't you tell us who those pargons of virtue are? Why not post the information you showed them that proved you have the credentials you say you have? Let everyone see your "credentials" and make their own decision.

What's that? The dog ate your credentials?

You keep digging the hole deeper, Orr.

Shame on you.

"What the hell has happened to America?"

US Imperialism in Spanish-American War when military was first used as corporate mercenaries. Woodrow Wilson, WWI and the Treaty of Versailles. Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan. Neo-cons, unlimited backing of Israel, military/defence suppliers, a bought and paid for Congress in both parties.

Instead of United States Marine Corp, it's the Unregulated System of Mercenary Corporations on land, sea, and air. Death has never been so profitable.

Orr, you still are a liar and fraud. The proof of your claims would take no more than a paragraph or two. But you can not produce what doesn't exist.

You have no science credentials. You have no mental health therapist credentials. You have no letters of support from "the movers and shakers at the highest levels of state and federal government" as you claimed.

You call it silliness. I, and others, call it lies and fraud.

I will continue to address this whenever and wherever I see your posts to advise those reading that you are ethically and morally deficient, repeatedly prone to outlandish tales of self-importance by false claims, and not to be trusted.

I'll also tell them of your propensity to tell jokes about dying AIDS patients and dragging the Orange Grove Center into religious discussions to call their clients and other people 'retarded'.

You are despicable. Thanks to Google, your record will be available to anyone who does a search using the key words,"Ken Orr, Chattanooga, and liar." Such a search will lead them to the Times Free Press where their archives will reveal your lunacy and lies.

No one trapped you. You trapped yourself through your public posts. There's no one to blame but yourself. Through your smugness and false claims of Christianity you've committed the sin of arrogance through deception.

Shame on you.

"Jesse, You are so right, DD and conservative are just the same. I think Al, has finally decided to ignore them. DD rants as much against religion as Conservative rants for it."

That is incorrect. I'm not against religion per se; I am against fundamentalism where a literal interpretation of some scripture and/or religious authority is applied in the world as a reality.

Whether that fundamentalism is Christian, Muslim, Judaic, or otherwise is of no consequence.

There is much insight in terms of thought to be found in religion, but as metaphor — not as reality.

Buddhism, Hinduism, liberal Christianity, Reform Judaism, when viewed as perceptions of the human condition have many valid insights.

But fundamentalism, particularly the type espoused by Conservative, Orr, Caddy, and others (Southern Baptists, Evangelicals, Pentecostals, Mormons, Opus Dei, for example) where their beliefs are to be accepted as literal fact, science, history, and morality, are dangerous and antithetical to progress for humanity.

If George Bush is to be believed, he thinks a god, Jehovah, told him to invade Iraq. Hitler believed he was doing a god's (Jehovah's) work. Inquisitors believed they were doing a god's work. Finding and torturing suspected "witches" was a god's work. Lynch mobs believed that they were doing a god's work by hanging blacks from trees and train trestles. Killing homosexuals is believed by some to be a god's work.

All these actions are the work of religious fundamentalists, however extreme, by taking myths and making them into a twisted reality.

Fundamentalism doesn't ask you to think. It asks you to blindly believe.

While my actions may offend by my directness and certain disdain for fundamentalism, there is a universe of difference between Conservative, Orr, and myself.

I don't ask anyone to believe what I say. I do ask people to think. Reach your own conclusions.

Conservative brought it up, so here's the answer about Jehovah's omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience.

So you think just because Chuckie has a UT Law School degree it doesn't make him dumb? LOL The only thing Chuckie has going for him now is the fact "the powers that be" haven't turned on him yet. If "heir apparent Wamp" had any experience at all the last time around he could have beaten Chuckie."

Except Weston Wamp is dumber than Chuck on his worst day and has no experience at anything except privilege.

Look at Zach. His elevator never reached the third floor, much less the penthouse. Weston Wamp's editorials wouldn't past muster in middle school.

The Wamps are easily controlled by corporate interests. Neither have the brains for independent thought. Neither had any type of record before running for office, unless you count Zach's criminal record.

An intelligent Republican could beat Chuck the next time out, but where do you find one that's not up to his/her ears in the Tea Party religious BS and pro-military/corporate imperialism?
