Ramsey is an IDIOT!!!! he has absolutely no interest in improving the education system for our children. His interest is in settling a political score. I hope the voting public sees through his political posturing and recognizes him for the snake he is.

Morale is already bad....just ask any Cleveland firefighter. The city council cannot get rid of the fire department fast enough....Talk about being out of touch!

I hear a bunch of great ideas being thrown around....my question is where does all of the money come from??? I don't understand how they can improve my service without raising my taxes.

Since these benefits have been promised to the employees for their years of service, they should be delivered. Public jobs have not always been the best paying jobs. As a result, an attractive benefit package has been necessary to attract quality employees. If we don't want the bottom of the barrel employees working for our governments, then we must find other places trim the fat. Like maybe art exhibits, or additional parks. Just a thought.

As a taxpayer in Bradley County, I am concerned that this plan is ill-conceived. I have concerns that bigger is not always better. What are the justifications for merging the City and County Fire departments? Our elected officials are not educating the public on these issues. It is hard for me to have blind faith that they are operating in our best interest.
