The first comment infers the law is unconstitutional. Must not have read the article. It states the Supreme Court "that's the BIG COURT", has ruled the law is constitutional. Another whiney Democrat I'm sure.

The Democrats in Chicago always said "Vote early and Vote often".

Dr. "Can't teach a dog to fetch a stick" Scales and Tommy "Smoke and mirrors " Krantz need to be shown the door and get some new people with some new ideas to turn our failing school system around. I learned a lot, the 3 years I spent in the 10th grade but the school system now is a failing system.

A lot of the kids don't even understand gang signs.

I believe the mayor has the blood of the homeless who have died because of his lack of action on his hands. How Ron Littlefield can sleep at night is a mystery to me.

There will be millions of sales tax dollars generated by the 1,400 full time and thousands more part time jobs from Amazon building here. I think the Governor makes perfect sense in his decision. He's going to show people how to properly run a state.

Looks like Littlefield is going to try to break the county then start that Metro Government talk again. We need to hold our breath till we have a new mayor.

Good decisions. I knew this Governor would make logical decisions instead of the slash and burn techniques of the last "compassionate" democrat we had for governor. Gov. Haslem is taking a compassionate and intelligent approach to dealing with the budget crisis in this state.

This is a realistic way to approach the budget. That's something Democrats will never identify with. Some of these posters are just unhappy with the "CHANGE". The Republicans will get this state on a realistic road. Whiners are just that, whiners.

Good idea Commissioner Boyd. Go easy on them though. Maybe just tax them at the rate they charge interest. And let them pay weekly so you can bleed them like they bleed their customers. Slowly and painfully. They have no shame. Praying on the poor.

This is fantastic. Dr. "Can't teach a dog to fetch a stick" Scales needs to find another job and Hamilton County should get someone in here who has some good "new" ideas. The poor junior high kids in East Ridge can't even read the gang signs.
