The only problem i see with this is what happens if the sherriff scan a license plate and it says person is wanted on a felony whether in state or out of state-- but the actually wanted person may not even be in teh car or even driving. Lots of people let friends/spouses/neighbors- drive their cars. It used to be when a car was stopped the officer ran the social number of the divers license to see if there was any warrants-- How do they get warrants out of scanning license plates-- ? I am confused

I am more than thrilled to know that this is happening. I am a (2) dog owner and believe me they go where ever we go-- on trips-- everywhere. Hats off to Blue Plate and Big River Hopefully more will come on board. And to the person that said you would not eat at a place with dogs outside-- SO long--eat elsewhere--Dogs are people too-- just furry!!!

I am a christian and I do go to church every week-- but as I said earlier there is a time and place for preaching and how you conduct it-- you can not force it on anyone. Bullhorns is stupid. So throw all the stones you wish saying people are non-christians that are ranting-- Unless you personlly know that-- you can not say that. I forgot this is the bible belt-- Most of you enjoy hearing a man call others names in front of thousands of people. Yep -- it is the right thing to do!! Wonders if Jesus would have done this very thing?

I totally disagree-- there is a time and place for preaching and street preaching is very annoying. I have been to Riverbend several years in a row--even worked Riverbend- and really hated to see and hear the things that came out of the street preachers mouth. Everything from calling people sinners to homos- you name it - you were called it. First of all-street preachers do not know every person that comes to RIverbend- so they should not assume they do. Whether a person is a sinner everyday or gay or whatever is the person's business not a street preachers. God love's every person and I know that if God did stand on the corner to preach he would never ever call out people single- handly saying- you are a sinner- you are gay- you are going to HELL-- Yes RIverbend is a festivel- correct- but as I said there is a time and place for preaching and remember you can not force preaching or church on anyone. And for all those that think by embarrassing one in front of thousands is great-- it is just wrong. I personally think that RIverbend should not allow the street preachers- but I am sure that will never happen.

kbrockman-- I think if I was you I would be so embarrassed to tell anyone I work for Comcast-- Hell in your case I am sure you get free cable or reduce cost. but for a actual paying customer--COMCAST doesnt care-- they have the worse customer service I have ever delt with. I personally hope every customer leaves Comcast for EPB- it serves them right-- they have known for years they have the worse customer service--there rates keep going up all teh time-- Hell city council even made mention of it. I applaude everyone that leaves Comcast-- but again if i was a employee as you are I really wouldnt care about rates ot anything-- at least that is the attitude of most customer care at Comcast

I totally agree-_Comcast is really a joke-my bill is about 104.00 a month for high-speed and regular cable- I always call to see if there is any specials so I can save some money. There nasty reply is You just had a special or promotion on your Tv -- you have to wait 6 months to qualify for another one. OMG I so can't wait for EPB to hit the downtown area. Comcast customer serive sucks and if they think that once EPB comes alive to all of chattanooga- they won't loose any customers-- the real laugh is on them-- I know many people that are going to switch. Comcast should have seen this coming long ago--High Rates--Rates always going up- Poor customer service-- I am thrilled there is another cable company that we can choose from.

I have no clue why anyone would want to battle and bother with riverbend this year-- The ecomony is sinking- All downtown hotels raise there rates almost double. I used to work for Courtyard by Marriott downtown and honestly when Riverbend starts they increase their room rates like you wouldnt believe. The rooms facing the river on the 7th floor go for 300.00 a night plus and a 2 night must stay is in force. the same room runs 169.00 regularly. So honestly Riverbend is a joke- the lineup is horrible. I bet they didnt have to pay much to get Willie Nelson to come--as old as he is-- Why not try getting Usher or LL Cool Jay-- popular people-- OOps I forgot Piverbend has to pay to bring people in- so they are cheap.
