The real problem is that physicians immediately jump on any new drug whether it is really needed or not. Drug reps convince them that it should be first line therapy instead of being used after failure of more common antibiotics. This "off label" use is the reason for the controversy. Insurance companies certainly contribute to the problem by allowing non-professional personnel to decide what is "approved" and what is not. There in lies the problem of our entire health care system in a nutshell...greedy drug companies and greedy insurance companies. The doctor-patient-pharmacist triad should be the lone criteria for determining effective treatment with medication. Drug companies pushing the latest and greatest antibiotics have definitely caused the current resistant problem.

Seriously? I really can't believe you even have a job. I know you are just here to stir up controversy but you sincerely are just not worth the effort. You are the reason newspapers are on their way out. You don't even know your audience.

The legacy of Catoosa Co. injustice goes back 50+ years. I hope the FBI and other federal agencies finally put an end to the civil rights abuses that have been going on there. It is now and has been a cesspool of law enforcement and it is time for it to end. I hope Dateline starts the ball rolling. The ghost of J.D. Stuart (Stewart) lives on.

I've got news for you whatsthefuss, I have had a salinator on my pool for 7 years and I have added a shock product ONCE. This method is definitely progressive and the way to go. It actually requires very little maintenance. I have a 28X45 free form pool and use less than $300 in chemicals (salt and occasionally algicide) per year. I think it is a smart move both environmentally and fiscally.

Look no further than your neighbor to the north, Cleveland for the truth about this crap. For years it has been safety, safety, safety when it comes to traffic cameras. Now, the new statistics show that intersections are safer (yes I know RL cams vs speed cams but bear with me) BUT Cleveland is removing them because they are not making money! The TRUTH! These cameras are about making money and nothing else. Just admit the truth and maybe the public would be a little more interested.

The reason I have curtailed flying out of Chattanooga is not because of the boarding time BUT the pathetic service of ASA. It is rarely on time either leaving or returning and heaven help you if you are supposed to take the last flight into Chattanooga on a given night. I have taken a bus, limo and taxi on different occasions to ATL because of this airline. I really do NOT believe this airline is safe at all. Until Chattanooga holds the airline to real standards I will continue to take the shuttle or drive to Atlanta.
