First of all, thanks for the LOLs! todd962...veeeeery funny!

Too old to answer on the albums question...don't listen anymore, although the Jimi Hendrix reference was correct.

The TV series that could/should be a movie? "The Killing".

I feel like I AM watching a movie when I watch "Southland"...it's THAT good.

With the government spending OUR tax dollars on this (or any) project of this kind shows just how much Washington is ignoring and ignorant of our economic situation. Another valid reason we need another man in the White House! He can't blame this mismanagement/stupidity on Bush!

Agreed about the Colt-Manning deal...CLASS all the way!

Gee Chas9...you have a good memory... My favorites were:

Rosanne Roseannadanna, the Coneheads, Pat and the Blues Bros.

Personally, I think that was when SNL was at it's BEST...

Well, I would like to see Peyton come to the Titans but I think he'll stay in the NFL as an owner/part-owner...if he does step on the field again as a player then I will pray very hard for him each and every time.

I really wish he'd come back to UTK as a coach where he won't get hurt...can you imagine the recruiting he'd do? They couldn't build dorms fast enough to hold 'em...

(Peyton has set a really high standard wherever he's played and now, we (Tennessee and Indy) are very spoiled and expect this level all the time)

And lastly, I wish I knew what Archie is advising him to do...

I still wish he would come back to UTK as a coach with NO chance of injury but wherever he lands (Tennessee Titans...hopefully) I wish him well and will pray for him before each game. However, I think he will stay close to the NFL...maybe as an owner or part owner?

But I would be interested in knowing what Archie is advising him to do...

Good posts...timbo and joneses...

The democtates have not done any favors for the black community...they constantly lie about their actions/polices/stands....they cannot be trusted. I used to be a Democrate until I realized they were lying to us ALL....now I vote Republican...and make NO apologies to anyone anymore. I'm NOT saying the GOP has done the best job but I feel they do more of what I want to see in the government.

I personally feel that it ALL started with the LIBERAL and massive SPENDING polices of Bill Clinton. I really feel HE is to blame for our problems now...Bush couldn't stop it and neither can Obama.

I'm hoping the next GOP president can.

Amen....livn4life...you said it well.

Pat Summitt has brought MORE GLORY to Tennessee than any football or mens basketball coach combined has in the sheer number of NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS! But also in the RESPECT she has gained for Tennessee, herself and HER program...just look at the graduation rate among her players!

Any young woman who can say she played for COACH Pat Summitt gets immediate respect and admiration...cause EVERYONE knows playing for Pat ain't easy! She's tough but the results are great and ARE NOT in dispute!
