The irony in the comments, of course, is that Samuel L. Jackson distanced himself from Chattanooga in part because of the racism he encountered here in his youth. I'm not often disappointed in my town, but I am when an article that seeks to inform locals about a neat cultural event is met with disgustingly racist remarks about Jews and African Americans while moralizing about a few swear words that may or may not be a part of the films featured. Grow up, Chattanooga. Maybe if we had more cultural events like this there would be fewer hateful, ignorant, and backwards people embarrassing our city.
