Ok, as we can all see Dr Goodman is THE BEST there is in his practice! Ms Freeman, we all feel for you and wish you nothing but the best recovery, however, you with held past medical info from the Dr prior to the procedure. You waited "in such pain" before going to the E.R. And your problems OBVIOUSLY were not expressed in a manor for Dr Goodman to automatically feel the need to send you to the E.R. As said earlier, Dr are not psychic. If you arent 100% open and honest with what is going on BEFORE AND AFTER seeing a Dr then the fault is very much on you. Its good that your friends are supportive, but to speak on your behalf and others that Dr Goodman isnt who we all say he is is just plain ridiculous. He is not negligent, he is the total opposite! Very sorry for the situation. It is bad for both parties. But Dr Goodman does all he can for anyone ALL THE TIME! Appeal it!! WE ARE ALL BEHIND YOU!!! And please Dr Goodman do not blame yourself! Poor communication from patient to Dr. Not your fault.
I work at Erlanger and this article is so far from the truth!! Dr Goodman is an EXCELLENT gastroenterologist (if not the best) and would never treat his patients which such disregard the way this implies! Nor would any of his staff! Please do not pass judgement based off this horrible article. The writer should be ashamed. Wrong. In so many ways, this is just wrong!
