I think they clarified.......There is more schools than Signal Mountain. They had other scheduled business to take care, and when they returned it was looked into. TSSAA is not going to notify everyone that's ever reported, they are going to make sure it is a legit concern first.
Have they really said anything we didn't already know?
What about the game he participated in this Spring? I don't know his hardship, don't really care (that is not anyone's business.) I know there is a 365 waiting rule on changing schools within a certain territory. It looks like that is a big part of this whole thing...... I live on the county line( pay taxes in 1, receive mail in the other close). My son was approached about playing ball in the other county, he declined because even if they are not on top every year he is a true Indian at heart, he also told the coach "he didn't want to set out his junior year". We were both told by THE Coach " Don't worry about the year waiting period, I can take care of that". Take it for what it is worth.....some coaches Will take a detour to get to the TOP.
Signal Mountain did this to themselves...No one from ANY other school (disgruntled fan or not) filled out the kids paperwork.. Maybe it's just easier to blame Sequatchie because you haven't played them yet... who knows. You are fueling your own fire, learn from your "mistake" and move on!
The whole team is gonna have to be punished, that is the only way to teach everyone (not just Signal) that TSSAA is watching and you will get caught and you will pay the PRICE if you cheat!
You guys had no problem being in the spotlight when it was all good, did ya? Reap what you sow...I just hope TSSAA digs a little deepe
